Our Story
Global Sakhamuzi began as a personal response to a broader problem: too many African stories were being told through distorted lenses, often by outsiders. Our founder’s extensive background in media and law, including years spent as a television producer creating documentaries and political programmes, revealed storytelling’s profound impact on identity and perception.
Motivated to see Africa’s narratives told by those who live them, Global Sakhamuzi was launched to provide a platform that prioritises African voices. It is a space for stories that uplift, challenge, and reflect the true diversity of the continent.
